Importing Holdings from CSV
CSV Format
Your CSV file should include these columns:

How to Import
- Go to Import or click the upload icon on your Portfolio page
- Select your CSV file
- Review the preview — the system maps columns automatically
- Click "Import Holdings"
- The system fetches current prices and calculates gains/losses
Tips for CSV Import
- Use standard ticker symbols (e.g.,
BRK.BnotBRK-B) - For mutual funds, use the 5-character ticker (e.g.,
VTSAX) - Preferred stocks: use the
-Psuffix (e.g.,BAC-PL) - Remove header rows if they don't match expected column names
After Import
The platform automatically:
- Fetches live market data for all holdings
- Calculates unrealized gains/losses
- Syncs dividend history and upcoming payments
- Computes risk metrics and sector allocation
- Runs dividend safety analysis overnight
